Walk: A brief wander around Ashford in the Water as we travelled to Birchover.
Weather: Sunny
Comments: Ashford in the Water is part of The Portway route but as we were passing it in the car we decided to explore. The famous Sheep Wash Bridge, over the River Wye, is the most photographed bridge in Britain. Sheep were washed in the water before chemical dips were introduced and the lambs were kept in a walled pen on the opposte side of the river.
